“Art and Craft” presents a lively combination of paintings, textiles, ceramics and glass from artists new to the gallery and returning favorites. New artist, Ginnie Cappaert’s small “Colorsnap” paintings will brighten the gallery walls. Lorraine Glessner’s new small works on plexiglas and her large encaustic paintings show her artistic range. Large jars in wonderful colors is the signature of Mark Knott’s ceramic vessels. Quite and stately vessels of sagger-fired clay are created by new artist, Jill Solomon. And Maia T. returns to the gallery with her amazing silk constructions.
