W. Darby Bannard (1938-2016) noted color field painter and art essayist and Hollis Jeffcoat, 3rd-generation abstract expressionist built a friendship around their mutual devotion to paint, painting and abstraction. The exhibit's title is taken from a phrase Bannard once used in a correspondence with Jeffcoat.
This exhibit, their second, features the recently discovered small works by Bannard and Jeffcoat's most recent paintings from her new series, "Stories: A Narrative Abstraction."
